The Voluntary Services Directory provides information on local services available to support stroke survivors and their families. These services are generally provided by the voluntary sector or local authorities and enhance, complement or follow on from care provided by the NHS.

Availability of services may vary in different areas. Some services may be apply to certain disease groups, or be generic and be relevant for all. Select “Generic” in the Specialties section if you want to include services that are not disease specific.

Adult Care Connect and Direct

Adult Care Connect and Direct is the one stop shop for all adult care enquiries for Bury residents aged 18 or over. We can offer information and advice as well as signposting or referrals to other services. This is a befriending service providing short and long term care in a family home.
