Productive therapy teams event

We will be hosting an event to help our community and inpatient stroke therapy teams improve their productivity. The day will be based on the findings of the ReAcT study and also on previous work on rehabilitation by the Stroke Improvement Programme – Mind the Gap.

Jill Lockhart, one of the authors of Mind the Gap will facilitate the event, assisted by Dr David Clarke from the ReAcT study team. Other therapists from across the UK who have successfully implemented improvements in productivity will be showcasing their work. You can download the programme here.

The morning will focus on understanding the evidence from the ReAcT study, as well exploring the learning from Mind The Gap, with examples of best practice from the UK also highlighted.

The afternoon will be in workshop format and will explore key areas of interest selected by the group, with the aim of attendees leaving with a firm action plan for next steps.

Future events to follow up and support progress may be developed depending on the wishes of the group.

The event is aimed at senior therapists in a leadership or management role who can help drive change in their teams. Places are limited to a maximum of 2 people per team.
